“Gettin’ #Bitmoji Wit It:” Using Bitmojis to Create IllustratED Rubrics

This session will focus on how to create personalized rubrics that provide: 1) a coherent set of criteria for evaluating students' work that 2) includes illustrated descriptions of performance levels through the use of 3) expressive cartoon characters called Bitmojis! Rubrics are supposed to be descriptive, not evaluative, so enhance your knowledge of how to assess student performance by creating caricatures that illustrate your expectations of performance levels.
