File cabinet curriculum collects dust. Hyperdocs grow and streamline instruction. Educators balance the responsibility of classroom management and providing students with skills that transfer to tasks and work beyond the classroom. Classroom management extends beyond students and now includes technology. This session will demonstrate how to create and use interactive agendas (through GoogleDocs) that connect learning through linked resources and online discussion. Participants will interact in a tutorial tour of how to use GoogleDoc table of contents, headers, and symbols/icons to create a stylized agenda and document templates. Whether teachers are implementing a 1:1 program or a #BYOD-friendly classroom, learning to incorporate hyperdocs as an organization tool benefits teachers and students. Teachers can keep curriculum and instructional tools fresh and up-to-date while modeling organization and how to use technology for professional and academic purposes. It’s also an effective way to keep students, parents, and administrators informed about the learning happening in the classroom.
